Imagination Master Creator! Tim Burton Blog Bash! 2016!

Nightmare Before Christmas, was my first meeting with Tim Burton's creative world. Many years ago now and frightful to think about.  Re introducing animation to mainstream was genius and many have followed.
A single Mom of two, I remember this movie was a big event in my home. Watched endlessly and welcomed imagination into our lives.  It must have stayed with my son as he gifted me " Jack" not to long ago which touched me deeply.

Oh yes, Epithany & Jack, ( fabulous British Epithany from Sheffield πŸ’œGina Morley)

Tonight, Tim Burtons long awaited "Miss Peregrines Home For Pecular Children" opens even up here at the North Pole!  This will be added to my DVD collection!

Many thank you's πŸ’œπŸ’œπŸ’œto Holly & Emma for bringing us all together to celebrate the Genius of Tim Burton, and if I might add, the outstanding thespians who bring his work to life!

And there is the genius πŸ’œ

  3. OMy favorite Burton Creation is also Nightmare Before Christmas. My son loved it so much he'd put the VHS in first thing when he woke up and let it play, rewind, and then he'd let it play again. He'd play with toys while watching or wander around but inevitably always came back to catch scenes. Good memories! Thanks for joining the party!

It's a touch choice, but I think my favorite Tim Burton creation is Ed Wood. Thanks for the giveaway! I've been wanting to read the book.

  8. I am so looking forward to seeing this new movie, Debi! But if it works out that the youngest and I can't get our schedules together, I'll purchase it and we can watch it together one evening this winter. She's the only one in the family who enjoys the same movies as I do. :)

I really like that last picture! Be great hanging off the hotel balcony, wouldn't it? lol xox

  10. Oh how I have missed your magic Debi, this post was like a visit home, and I made myself a cuppa to sit and enjoy all the treats! Memphis and I when to Noosa Cinemas yesterday and watched 'Miss Perigrines School for Peculiar Children' we loved it, my other babe was back in BrisVegas this weekend, but will watch (and I'm sure love) too 😁 It is very bizarre there were less than 20 people in the theatre, release day, makes me realise if most people living on the Sunshine Coast were out on the beach instead of a darken cinema... That made my peculiar daughters and I smile 😜 Good films so often owe a debt to a great story writer, I am pleased you gave kudos to the author as well! Love your post, the dolls, posters and all... Have the best weekend my friend x
